Diggy is back to share the love

Comments:

THE ever-pimped love machine that is Diggy Bones returns to Perth with his band, The Token’s of Love, for two nights following a successful run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Diggy, played by comedian Ben Sutton, will again be joined by faithful band mates Coco Sugar Lips, Colonel Fingers and Bustin Downtown to give Perth audiences a look at their Melbourne show, Return to Greatness.

For the uninitiated, Diggy Bones is a fast-talking flashy dresser with a message of “lurve” delivered in a genre-referencing funk style.

The show has strong roots in cabaret, stand up comedy, musical theatre and funk, and features a short ‘documentary’, The Rise & Fall... and Rise again of Diggy Bones.

Return to Greatness shows at Lazy Susan’s Comedy Den, upstairs at the Brisbane Hotel July 1 and 2, with tickets through Bocs.
