THE One Movement for Music Festival Perth has just gotten bigger - much bigger - with the addition of a third arm to the multi-pronged event with multi Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan leading the charge.
Event organisers have announced the festival will this year kick off on Friday, October 8 with an evening special on The Esplanade dubbed the Twilight Festival.
McLachlan, who has sold more than 40 million albums since 1988, heads West on the back of the recent release of her first studio album in seven years, Laws of Illusion.
The line-up also Aussie icon Paul Kelly, quirky Aussie singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke, Court Yard Hounds (Dixie Chicks' sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison), American Todd Rundgren's Johnson (a show dedicated to classic Robert Johnson songs), multilingual American troupe Pink Martini, Louisiana blues supergroup Lil' Band O' Gold, soulstress (and John Butler's other half) Mama Kin; and Filipino five-piece band Kadangyan.
